ASDIC - LEADERSHIP

Leadership

The ASDIC Program is led by Dr. Herbert Perkins (African American) and Margery Otto (European American) with skilled facilitators trained in ASDIC principles and methodology. Dr. Perkins brings to this work his academic experiences of teaching, curriculum writing and research. The perspectives he brings to antiracism dialogue and facilitation are largely drawn from the interdisciplinary social sciences and humanities (sociology, anthropology, cultural philosophy, and theology). His scholarly work has focused on issues of racism, intercultural communication, identity formation, and cross-cultural counseling. Dr. Perkins most recently served as the director of the Theological Exploration of Vocation Program at Hamline University.
